DOES THE GAMBLE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND DISTRIBUTE TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS?
The money is dispersed using a cashier's check mailed using Certified Mail to your home address. Because this method is used, anyone with access to a bank or credit union can qualify for the scholarship.
HOW MUCH MONEY DOES THE GAMBLE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND DISTRIBUTE EVERY YEAR?
The current amount is set at a one-time payment of $1,000. As we get further into our careers and life goals, we are planning on both increasing the number of scholarships given out and the cash amount.
DOES THE GAMBLE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND DISTRIBUTE RECURRING GRANTS, OR SHOULD APPLICANTS REAPPLY EACH YEAR?
Each year we give a one-time $1,000 scholarship based on the responses to the essay questions. This scholarship is not currently reoccurring, and you cannot receive the scholarship more than once.
